About your Family Photography Session
WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR SESSION
A lot of fun! Especially if you're bringing kids along :) We'll be shooting for approximately one hour, and we're careful to provide a lot of variety to your images. We'll include a lot of spontaneous photos as well as a set where everyone is looking at the camera. We'll include a mix of individual and group photos.
While we certainly keep the sessions light and fun, we are always keeping an eye on the most interesting light and composition. While it may look like we're just having fun like the kids (and we definitely will be!), we're always looking at the world in terms of light, colour and composition. Our eyes are trained to do this, so it all happens naturally as we're shooting. This helps us create images that are uniquely yours - they will convey a sense of joy and spontaneity, but they have also been thoughtfully crafted and composed.

Location - Where we hold your session
We've previously held photography sessions outdoors at the park, at the beach, in backyards and front yards, by rivers, harbours and oceans and indoors at homes all across Sydney. If you have an idea for your location, or if you'd like some inspiration to help you choose we'd love to hear from you.
We have a great list of favourite parks and beaches across Sydney, so if you're not sure where you'd like to hold your session, we'd be happy to provide a few ideas. Ultimately though, your session is held at a location of your choice so if you have a particular spot in mind that's great too!
How to prepare for your session
After you've made your booking with us we'll be in touch with advice on how to best prepare for your session. It's all very simple, but we'll answer a few common questions such as "What should we wear?" and "What time of day is best?" as well as providing a few tips on how to keep the little ones at their happiest during your session.
What happens after your session
You'll receive a secure, online gallery with your full set of images. You can review absolutely everything before you decide what you'd like to purchase, whether you're choosing prints, digital files, an album, or one of our packages.

We offer a lot of different products, including digital files, and we run through all the details in our pricing brochure. We also list some of our most popular packages in case you're a little unsure about what to choose.
pricing
We charge a session fee of $190 which covers the session itself. You don't need to decide which products you'd like to purchase until after you've seen your photos in your private gallery. Our products include framed prints and canvases, keepsake albums and digital files. Please call or send us a quick email if you'd like our full pricing details.
